GENERAL INFORMATION

Wicker Imports On Line only sells high quality furniture from reliable manufactures at reasonable prices. Because we are a brick and mortar store, we are able to test all products to ensure that they meet our standards. We do not sell inferior products, because we stand behind everything we sell. Wicker Imports was established in 1975 and is locally owned and operated. We concentrate in the Eastern Pennsylvania area, and deliver within a 100 mile radius of our store. We also offer free shipping to the lower 48 States, as well as in store pickup discounts.

ABOUT OUR CUSHIONS

At Wicker Imports, we believe the most important factor in buying furniture is quality construction and comfortable cushions. That is why we started making our own cushions in 2002. The most important aspect of a comfortable cushion is what inside the seat cushion. Our deep seating outdoor cushions are far more plush than any on the market today. That is because we start with a much thicker cushion core than any one else.We make 2 types of seat cushions for most of our cushions. 

Indoor Cushions

Our indoor seat cushions are made from a high density polythene foam wrapped in a thick layer of Dacron polyester. These cushions are long lasting and will soften over time. They can never be used in an uncovered area. We recommend our indoor cushions for living rooms, sunrooms, great rooms, and larger covered porches and patios that only get occasional rain inside.

Outdoor Cushions

Our outdoor seat cushions are made from several layers of densified fiber wrapped in a layer of Dacron polyester. These cushions start out thicker because they will flatten out over time. The densified fiber repels water so these cushions can be used directly outside. We recommend our outdoor cushions for open patios, porches, and decks and smaller covered porches that get rain inside.

Back Cushions

Our back cushions are the same for indoors and outdoors. They are available with or without buttons. This is a personal preference, so order what you like.

ABOUT OUR FABRICS

Our premium cushions are available in either spun polyester or solution dyed acrylic.

Spun Polyester Fabrics

Spun polyester fabrics are a printed fabric with a soft touch. The beauty of a spun poly fabric is the rich colors and patterns that are available. Spun polyester fabrics are pigment printed, therefore the color is on the surface of the fabric. They are rated at between 500 -1000 UV hours, hence they are more fade resistant than cottons or blends. We recommend spun poly fabrics not to be used in areas that are heavily used. We do not recommend spun poly fabrics to be used in an uncovered area.

To clean spun polyester fabrics, use warm water and mild detergent, rub gently, rinse with water and air dry. Do not use chlorine bleach, harsh detergents, or abrasives on printed fabrics. For stubborn stains dry cleaning in recommended. Never wash your cushions in a washing machine.

Sunbrella Fabrics

Our solution dyed acrylic fabrics are the most durable fabrics on the market today for outdoor use. We only use genuine sunbrella fabrics for our acrylics. Sunbrella fabrics are solution dyed, therefore the color is all the way through the fabric, not just printed on top. They are rated at over 2000 UV hours, the top standard in the industry. Sunbrella fabrics can be used anywhere even outside in direct sunlight. We highly recommend Sunbrella for heavy duty use.
